Cold Light Day places a duet dance on a rural dock in South Puget Sound. Made while Hanson was researching movement for her dance piece, 28 problems, Cold Light Day juxtaposes vocabulary from that piece with repurposed choreography from the early 1990s.

Cold Light Day was featured in the 2019/2020 screendance touring festival, Agite Y Sirva.
